So, in March of 2020 as we finished the muster (the old fashion way) we made history and the news as that was the day that the pandemic closed everyone down. We were lucky as our ship had not left the port and so we were herded off and cruises as we knew it was changed forever…… Funny that the ship we were on was the NCL SUN it would have been our first cruise with NCL We have since cruised on 10 of NCL’s ships evenually you will be hearing about these as well but today I going to introduce you to Bliss our recent cruise the the Mexican Riveria as my first blog…..
I have to start off telling you that my cruising started again in April of 2022 and I have made the last two years about the NCL cruise line. NCL has many perks including Free Beverage package, Free Internet, Free Specialty Dining but the one offer that gives them a leg up is the 2 for one airfare!
So, what about the NCL and their perks. Yes, they have a free beverage package and if you drink you can drink until you drop (I don’t recommend that though) you will have to pay a set gratuity on the package another perk is the speciality dining package in which you have a chance to visit at least two great restaurants they include Cagney’s Steak House, Le Bistro (French) La Cucina (Italian) can be called by another name Los Lobos (Mexican), Teppanyaki (Japanese) You may find Moderno Churrascaria.
Okay, another perk if you are or were a military member you may be eligible for the military appreciation perk an addition 10% off and a cocktail party to recognize you for your service.
We just go back from a 17 day East Africa cruise that was on the Dawn. She is an old gal that they say was refurbished in 21′ I believe and honestly I talked badly about the old girl at first but on reflection she got us there and ‘home’ safely. Therefore, I am not complaining . So this is just a sip more to follow as we embark on our next cruise Sunday! But for now I will be uncorking a bottle Malbec CHEERS!
